In 2016, the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trusts BE 2 and Albatros took part in a flypast at Caterpillar Valley Cemetery at the Centenial Commemoration for the Kiwi Division's contribution to the Battle of the Somme. The flypast included dropping poppies over the Site with Prince Charles in attendance.
Only 125 Kiwi soldiers are buried in named graves in the Cemetery. There is a commemorative wall for the 1205 unknown soldiers buried there. One of whom was reinterred in the National War Memorial in Wellington New Zealand in 2004.
If you would lie to commemorate a relative, the Trust is dedicated to keeping the sacrifice of so many alive
